Why is 100% Cotton Important?
Most fast fashion trends are made of rayon and polyester. These fabrics are made with plastic derived from petroleum. These leech into your pores and are toxic. Today, finding pure fabrics is becoming more rare. Even when labeled, unfortunately, “pure textiles” are not entirely 100% pure. Why does fast fashion use plastic fabrics for their clothing? The answer is simple, money. Because they can produce and yield fabrics quicker and cheaper by using pesticides to grow the fabrics and mix it with plastics. That is why organic pure fabrics offer a higher frequency that you can feel while wearing it and why we came out with a line that is suited for this concern.
♻️ What about the ecological impacts of plastic clothing? Unlike its organic counterparts, plastic based clothing like polyester and rayon does not biodegrade when it arrives at a landfill or littered.
